Wolves picked up another fine win in the Premier League this weekend as they beat Norwich City 3-0 at home.

Diogo Jota capped off a fine week as he scored a brace against the Canaries while Raul Jiminez scored the third of the night. But according to the Wolves boss, Jota still has a long way to go since he has more space to improve.

“He’s showing his performance and hard work, and he has a long way to go because there is always space to improve,” the manager after the match.

But while speaking on his team’s commanding win on Sunday, Nuno Espirito Santo has also warned his players to remain focused so that they can string together a number of such positive performances in the coming weeks.

“We managed the game very well, we were always in control. We blocked [Norwich] and created many chances,” the manager said, as quoted.

“What’s more important is the belief – the result is what we see afterwards. The energy was required [after playing on Thursday] and the team showed it so good.

“We’re going to stay focused because the difficulty is to sustain your performances through the season.

“After that, we’ll see, but it’s about building your team and getting them ready to compete whenever, wherever.”

Consistency has been a real issue for all the sides who are chasing the top-four this season which is why every team in the vicinity of the fourth spot still have a fighting chance to make it to the Champions League next season.

But Wolves most certainly remain one of the picks of the lot and many believe that if they can pick up a win against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend then surely Santo’s men will make a really strong challenge for that singular spot.
