Wolves have suddenly hit a rough patch of form, losing their previous three Premier League matches but we expect them to bounce back this week when they take on Watford, a team who are sitting in the relegation zone.

Wolves had an outside chance of challenging for that final Champions League spot but after those three losses, they are very much out of the Premier League top-four race. Their aim now will be to finish as high as possible and secure maybe a Europa League position.

The Hornets might have lost against Arsenal last weekend but they did put up a very good fight by scoring two goals. On the other hand, Wolves haven’t been able to find the back of the net in their previous two league outings.

This is a game that the home side should be winning very easily and since Watford have so many injuries, we don’t expect Roy Hodgson’s side to cause any major problems at Molineux.

Wolves team news vs Watford:

Nelson Semedo is already out with a muscle injury and now Ki-Jana Hoever has also joined that list which means Bruno Lage will have to use a make-shift right wing-back in midweek.

Against Palace, it was Jonny who came off the bench to play in that role and we expect him to hold onto that spot. Jonny put in a fine shit in that 2-0 loss but he is a left-back by trade so this is going to be a major position of weakness for Wolves.

Thankfully, Semedo and Hoever are the only two injury absentees going into the Watford game so Lage has the liberty to rotate his squad.

If the Wolves boss wants to rotate his squad then he will probably bring Rayan Ait-Nouri into the side, in place of Marcal.

Pedro Neto got a start against Crystal Palace but we think Podence is going to replace him in the playmaker’s role because Neto has just returned from a major injury.

Raul Jimenez is also going to come back into the side, taking Podence’s place as the centre-forward.

Wolves predicted line up vs Watford:

Predicted Starting XI(3-4-2-1): Sa; Saiss, Coady, Kilman; Nouri/Marcal, Moutinho, Ruben Neves, Jonny; Hwang, Podence; Raul Jimenez.
