Leicester City brought in Youri Tielemans on a six-month-long loan deal from AS Monaco during the January transfer window.

And during such a short time, the midfielder has made a positive impact with the Foxes.

The player’s loan deal expires at the end of the current season and but many experts believe that Youri Tielemans will be sold off by Monaco permanently during the summer transfer window.

During the 2018-19 season, Youri Tielemans has played in 11 games in the Premier League so far scoring 3 goals and 5 assists and Paul Merson believes that the 21-year-old will be a perfect fit at a club like Arsenal and Manchester United.

“I think so [a bigger club will look to sign Tielemans],” Merson said.

“I think he’s special, I really do, I think this kid is a top, top player, I really do.

“The only thing is he’s worked with Brendan [Rodgers] the last so many weeks or couple of months.

“Surely they’re getting into his earhole about signing and they’ve got to get his lad signed.

“I think he can go to any of the top four, or top six. If I was Arsenal or Man United, I’d be looking at him all day long, all day long.

“Even Man City, even at Man City I’d be looking, I think he’s that good.

“He’s only young, how old is he? 21? 21, wow, wow.”

Youri Tielemans is out of contract at Monaco during the summer of 2022, which means Monaco can certainly hold out for a hefty transfer fee during the summer.

But having said that, reports claim that the French club will be ready to sell him off if a club is willing to pay around 25 million pounds for his services.

And at his price tag, Youri Tielemans is an absolute steal for both Arsenal and Manchester United.

Arsenal have already lost Aaron Ramsey who is moving to Juventus while Solskjaer is on the verge of losing Ander Herrera who has reportedly agreed on a pre-contract with PSG.

So in such a scenario, signing a top class talent for such a low price tag will be deemed as great transfer market business.
