Just when Jose Mourinho thought that he was on the verge of finishing his rebuilding process at Manchester United, it seems that the Portuguese has been hit with a major transfer blow.

David De Gea wants to head back home?

Yes, Spanish publication Don Balon have just delivered a shocker of a news claiming that the Manchester United shot-stopper is still desperate to join Real Madrid.

The Los Blancos tried numerous times to sign up De Gea in the past and just when it seems that they had finally given up all hopes, the keeper looks to have reignited their interest.

As per the report, David De Gea has asked his agent to get in touch with the hierarchy at the Bernabeu so that they open talks over a deal.

We would not have paid too much attention to this bit of news but since it comes from Don Balon – who are a pretty reliable source when it comes to Real Madrid, we are forced to sit up and take notice.

Another big reason is the fact that Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out from the transfer of Bilbao keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after recent reports suggested that the player has a foot injury which might require surgery.

Hold onto your hats United fans the next few weeks could be a bit rough.
