Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is still interested in signing Willian from Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window – as per reports.

Mourinho is a huge admirer of the Brazilian and his talents and the United boss tried to bring him on board last year too but could only get Nemanja Matic out of Stamford Bridge.

Now the Sun are claiming that Mourinho will once again make a move for the winger during the summer transfer window and this time with a lot more intent.

As per the Sun: “Jose is still interested in him. The club had a sniff last year but Matic was the only possibility.

“He does not have long left on his contract. The boss is a huge fan of his, he is always full of praise.

“God knows where this leaves the rest of the wide players at the club but it cannot be good for them.

“He is a fantastic trainer with a great attitude towards his football according to Jose.”

Manchester United already have an assemblage of attacking players at their disposal and if Jose Mourinho is at all serious in signing Willian then he will have to clear out some locker room space first.

The Brazilian’s current contract with Chelsea runs until 2020 and he had recently claimed that he was very happy at the club and will only move out if Chelsea did not want him anymore.

But with the way Chelsea panned out their transfer market strategies last summer, we wouldn’t put a lot of faith in them this time around.
