Chelsea were held to a goalless draw at Goodison Park during the weekend and Conte’s men will be eager to get things back on track when they host Brighton and Hove Albion on Boxing Day.

The Blues dominated the match against Everton but were unable to break down a resilient Toffees side. Now Conte will be hoping that his team will not have to face any such dilemma against Brighton on Tuesday night.

CHELSEA TEAM NEWS:

The biggest positive for the Italian manager will be the return of Alvaro Morata after his one-match suspension for receiving five yellow cards. The Spaniard will directly go into the frontline alongside Eden Hazard – who is touted to join Real Madrid during the end of the season.

Zappacosta played just 10 minutes of the Everton game and he could very well start the match against Brighton in place of Victor Moses in the right wing-back role. David Luiz remains sidelined with a knee injury meaning youngster Christensen will once again be entrusted with leading the three-man defensive line – no wonder Chelsea are planning to offer him a new contract.

Both Willian and Pedro had a below average game against Everton but one of them is sure to start on the right wing and seeing the trust that Conte has on Pedro we feel that the former Barcelona man will get the nod ahead of Willian. Fabregas played a little less than half an hour at Goodison and he will be back in midfield alongside N’Golo Kante.

CHELSEA’S PREDICTED LINE-UP:

Goalkeeper: Courtois

Defence: Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta
