Arsene Wenger’s managerial career at the Emirates is coming to a close and the London outfit are already on the lookout for suitable replacements.

And according to various reports, former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti could be the one to succeed the Frenchman in the dugout. Ancelotti recently stepped down from his role as the manager of German side Bayern Munich after their humiliating defeat at the hands of PSG in the Champions League. The Italian – who is now a free agent is being linked with a series of high profile jobs across Europe.

Some reports suggest that Ancelotti could be back at the helm at AC Milan – the club which made him a world-famous coach. While others say that the management at Stamford Bridge are also thinking of bringing back the Italian for a second stint.

But a report in the Gazzetta Dello Sport suggests that the owners of Arsenal are thinking of bringing in Carlo Ancelotti as an ideal replacement for their current manager.

Arsene Wenger recently signed a new deal with the club – amidst strong opposition from the fans but his new stint at the club is not bearing any fruit. The Gunners are performing well below their standards and it’s only a matter of time before Wenger steps down from his chair – either willingly or forcefully.
