Bayern Munich suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Hoffenheim. Ancelotti’s team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Hoffenheim. Kramaric scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute.

Whenever a mighty force like Bayern suffers a setback, people automatically have the impression that either it was bad luck or a not so good performance. But this defeat is nothing of that sort. The league leaders were unhinged and outwitted by a 29-year-old coach. Yes, Hoffenheim’s coach Julian Nagelsmann is just 29 years old. And at this age, he has not only defeated a Carlo Ancelotti team but managed to outwit the Italian.

Nagelsmann’s game plan was simple. In fact, in was so simple that he openly shared it in his pre-match press conference. He said he did not want his team to be pinned against the wall like most of the teams. He wanted to be brave and play fearlessly. And his team perfectly executed his plan. Hoffenheim looked extremely dangerous while going forward and they could have easily finished the match 4-0. This is Bayern’s second defeat of the season. Previously only Borussia Dortmund managed to defeat Bayern.

Nagelsmann is the youngest ever coach in the Bundesliga. He took charge of Hoffenheim when he was just 28 years old. And within a year he has brought Hoffenheim out of the jaws of relegation and turned them into a force to be reckoned with. His management and game planning has been so superb that Hoffenheim have lost just twice this season.

All throughout the season, there were mumbles and whispers that Nagelsmann might be a good coach. But after this historic win, he has set the limelight upon himself. The world has suddenly stood up to take notice. There are also rumours doing the rounds that Nagelsmann might be the man to replace Ancelotti. But as of now he has committed his future to Hoffenheim and will stay with them for the next season.
