Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has been tipped to move out of Anfield at the end of the season and join Juventus on a free transfer during the summer and now it seems that the German International has played his final game for the Reds.

Emre Can suffered a back injury during Liverpool’s 5-0 mauling of Watford back in March and his latest reports show that the central midfielder could be out until the end of the season.

Liverpool play their last game of the league on the May of 13th and the Mirror are suggesting that Emre Can could very well have played his final game for the Merseyside outfit.

Emre Can joined Liverpool in the summer of 2014 from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee of €12 million and since then the German International has played 162 games in all competitions for Liverpool scoring 14 goals.

The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and despite Liverpool’s attempts to bind him into a new contract, it seems that Emre Can has made up his mind of joining Serie A side Juventus.

While the exit of Can will undoubtedly be a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp next season but his absence during the current season could hurt Liverpool very badly.

Can is now certain to miss the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City and this could prove to be a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp though is not sitting with folded hands and according to multiple reports the German manager has already started looking at possible replacement for Emre Can.

According to reports coming out of England, the Merseyside outfit are planning to bring Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini on board during the summer who like Emre Can is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season on a free transfer.
