Liverpool take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday.

And this is easily one of the biggest matches in the knockout stages.

Unlike the Man United vs PSG game, this match is set to be an even encounter between both the clubs but Jurgen Klopp does have a few injury concerns going into the match.

Liverpool vs Bayern: Reds team news

The biggest concern for Liverpool is with the fitness of Dejan Lovren who is fighting a race against time to make himself available.

With Virgil Van Dijk suspended, the manager only has Joel Matip full fit and if reports are to be believed then it will be midfielder Fabinho who will be the second centre-back.

While Dejan Lovren is a major doubt but some rumours suggest that the Croatian will be fit enough to be named on the bench.

Trent Alexander Arnold has recovered from his injury which means the right-back will take his place in defence and James Milner will move back into the bench.

Wijnaldum will partner Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita in a three-man midfield but Milner might be introduced some time in the second half.

Xherdan Shaqiri is also a doubt for this fixture but even if he was to pass a late fitness test, Jurgen Klopp will only name him in the substitutes bench with Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino more or less guaranteed starters.

Liverpool vs Bayern: Reds’ possible XI
