Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly looking to make a move for PSG star Adrien Rabiot.

Adrien Rabiot has been the mainstay in the PSG midfield for some time now and his current contract with the club expires next summer.

And recent reports suggest the midfielder is not interested in signing a new deal with the Parisian club.

PSG on the other hand, are desperate to tie Adrien Rabiot down to a new deal and they are supposedly offering the midfielder €7.2million (£6.32m) a year.

The talks between both the parties have seemingly broken down and while the exact reasons for Adrien Rabiot’s refusal are not known but some feel that the tensions between the player and the club’s sporting director Antero Henrique might be one of the reasons why he wants to leave the club.

And this has spiked the interest of many top Premier League clubs.

Up until now, clubs like Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool were said to be interested in Adrien Rabiot but now reports are suggesting even Tottenham Hotspur are planning to make a move for the 23-year-old.

Spurs were the only Premier League club which failed to sign even a single player during the summer transfer window and Mauricio Pochettino will be itching to bring in some fresh talent into the squad.

Spurs have already made clear that Mousa Dembele will be allowed to leave the club next summer and Adrien Rabiot could be a perfect replacement for the midfielder.

But one major problem is that Spurs are not known as a big spending club and the likes of Man City and Liverpool will not shy away from spending high for Adrien Rabiot.

The rumours are still in its initial stages and all of this will depend on whether PSG fail to tie down Adrien Rabiot to a new contract.

Update:

Juventus are also interested in signing Adrien Rabiot after Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici was pictured at the Parc des Princes.

This has led many to believe that the Bianconeri are planning to make a move for the midfielder and might try and force a transfer as early as January.
