Manchester United and Liverpool have both been heavily linked with a move for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot – as per reports.

Adrien Rabiot has fallen down the pecking order at PSG this season and the midfielder is currently suspended after his antics following the Ligue 1 side’s loss to Man United in the Champions League.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at PSG at the end of the season and it is more or less certain that the club are not going to offer him a new deal.

Since such a top rated midfielder is available for free a number of top European clubs have shown interest in signing him during the summer.

But for the longest time, it was being believed that Adrien Rabiot might move to England with either Man United or Liverpool being the next likely destination.

Now though, Canal+ (via the Daily Mirror) are suggesting that the midfielder is going to snub a move to the Premier League and head for Spain instead.

As per the report, Adrien Rabiot has had a verbal agreement with Real Madrid and the PSG man will be joining the Los Blancos during the summer transfer window.

Zidane wants to gather a new look midfield for the 2019-2020 season and it looks like Adrien Rabiot is set to become the first part of the puzzle.

This will surely be a huge blow for both Man United and Liverpool who have been on the hunt for Adrien Rabiot for a long time now.

Some experts have suggested that the Premier League outfits might offer the player more wages in order to lure him to England but as per the report, that is not going to work.

It seems like Adrien Rabiot is making the switch to Real Madrid primarily because he wants to play under the French manager and in such a scenario no amount of money might be enough to change his mind.
