Arsenal take on Everton in the Premier League on Sunday and a win would once again take them above Spurs to the third spot.

Right now, the Gunners are fourth on the league table one point behind North London rivals Spurs but the Lilywhites have played one more game.

Arsenal are currently unbeaten in their previous five league games but beating Everton will not be an easy task since the Toffees have only lost one game out of their previous five.

Arsenal news vs Everton:

Bernd Leno will most certainly start in goal and Emery is expected to line up his team with a back three.

Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis are guaranteed starters at the back while Laurent Koscielny is currently recovering from a bruised foot.

He is expected to go through a late fitness test in order to determine his availability but recent reports suggest that the defender should be fit to start.

Both Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey are currently out with injuries but like Koscielny they too are should be fit to start in midfield on Sunday.

Lucas Torreira remains suspended which means that Matteo Guendouzi should come off the bench sometime in the second half because Emery would want to take on Ramsey as early as possible given the Gunners take on Napoli in the Europa League next week.

Mesut Ozil surely impressed everyone with his performance vs Newcastle on Monday and we believe the German is expected to keep his place in the starting XI vs Everton.

This means Arsenal’s shape should remain the same with Lacazette and Aubameyang playing up front while Ozil plays in the hole just behind the two front men.
