Rangers FC signed Alfredo Morelos from HJK Helsinki for a transfer fee of £1.5 million in the summer of 2017.

And it is fair to say that the Gers have had their money worth.

The Colombian player was sensational for the Gers last season and he has just carried on his good form this season too.

We are yet to enter the second half of the season and Alfredo Morelos has already managed to score 20 goals and provide 10 assists for the club.

And according to HJK Helsinki manager Mika Lehkosuo, the striker is more than ready to play in England.

Mika said“Alfredo is ready for bigger things if he wants them.

“It depends on what he wants to do but he is ready. He could play in England but it’s up to him.

“He has everything you want from a top striker, now it’s up to him to continue that. He can go to the very top of the game.

“I always felt the British game was perfect for him because he’s just so strong and aggressive.

“He had everything you needed to be a top player.

“He has improved a lot in the last two years since he moved to Rangers. He has learned to mature because he was young when he was with us.

“Sometimes he can get frustrated and he plays on the edge but that’s what makes him Alfredo.”

Alfredo Morelos had previously said that his ultimate dream is to play in England and with the kind of form that he is in right now, that goal might not be very far away.

Many people feel that a number of clubs will come after Morelos at the end of the season and it will be virtually impossible for Rangers to hold onto him for the next season.
