Earlier this week, reports had suggested that Tottenham Hotspur were looking to sign Andy Carroll from West Ham United.

This news came after Harry Kane was ruled out for two months due to an ankle injury.

Pochettino is currently left with only Fernando Llorente until the end of the season and the manager is planning to bring in a new striker.

Some reports had claimed that the Lilywhites are looking to sign West Ham man Andy Carroll on loan until the end of the season.

But others cited that Pochettino would also agree to sign the England international permanently.

Andy Carroll is out of contract at West Ham United at the end of the season and the club would happily accept a transfer fee for him since he is likely to leave the London Stadium as a free agent.

Now though, Sky Sports seems to have rubbished all these claims and are saying that Andy Carroll are not on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.

Yes, Spurs are still out in the market looking to bring in a new striker to fill up the boots of Harry Kane but it will most certainly not be Andy Carroll.

Pochettino has told Daniel Levy that he needs a striker until the end of the season but if somehow the club fail to sign a player then the manager will be more than happy to bring up players from the academy.

Harry Kane will return back to training sometime in March and with Spurs battling in multiple competitions, by the time the England captain makes a comeback, the whole season might have collapsed for the London outfit.
