Celtic youngster Kieran Tierney is currently the second choice left-back for Scotland after Liverpool’s Andy Robertson.

And recent reports have claimed that Andy Robertson might be helping the youngster make decisions about his future.

Arsenal are desperately trying to sign the left-back during the current summer transfer window and it looks like Andy Robertson has advised the Celtic lad to move out of Scotland.

Transfer consultant Ian McGarry claimed on the Transfer Window Podcast(as reported): “The second thing that has changed for Kieran Tierney is speaking to his international team-mate, Andy Robertson.

“Having won the Champions League at the end of last season, he’s told Tierney ‘look, don’t default your career for the sake of staying at the club you support’.”

This news has created a fair amount of uproar amongst the Bhoys supporters who obviously hold Andy Robertson in high regards.

But most Celtic faithfuls are claiming that such pieces of advice from the Liverpool man will pollute Tierney’s thoughts and the left-back will then be trying to force his way out of the club.

And this would mean that the Bhoys will have no other option but to offload their finest talent for a much lesser transfer price.

But now Andy Robertson has hit back at these claims by describing it as “lot of rubbish”.

Arsenal have already seen a 15 million pounds bid rejected for Kieran Tierney and they have swiftly made another bid in the region of 18 million pounds.

But rumours have it that Celtic are set to reject that offer too as they hold onto their demands of 25 million pounds.
