Celtic FC defender Anthony Ralston was involved in a horrific car accident earlier this week – as per reports.

Anthony Ralston came up through the ranks at Celtic and this season the right-back has made only four appearances under Brendan Rodgers.

The crash occurred at Antermony Road in Milton of Campsie, East Dunbartonshire, at 2.40pm on Tuesday and while the player was not injured, the other person has been seriously wounded.

The man who has not been named was driving a Jaguar XJR and after the incident outside the Lennoxtown training centre, the injured person was taken to the hospital.

A post on social media said(as reported by STV): “Really bad accident in Milton of Campsie about a mile and a half from Lennoxtown.

“Spoke to a couple of people that saw the cars and said it was horrendous.”

UPDATE:

The latest report suggests that the injured person is serious but stable.

Anthony Ralston though was unharmed.
