Apart from Manchester City, there is one other team which is benefiting from Sergio Aguero’s fine form

Sergio Aguero or Kun Aguero as he is affectionately called, has been one of the best players for Manchester City ever since the club was bought over by its current owners last decade.

Aguero joined Manchester City from La Liga side Atletico Madrid before the 2011-12 season for a fee reportedly in the region of £35 million.

Back in 2011, 35 million pounds was considered to a huge sum of money but 307 games and 210 goals later, Sergio Aguero has turned out to be nothing but a bargain deal for the Citizens.




And the Argentine was on song once again this weekend as he scored a superb goal against Manchester United in the Derby.




The past two seasons, Sergio Aguero has scored 33 and 30 goals respectively and this year too he looks to match or better that tally having clocked up 11 goals in 15 games already.

The 30-year-old has turned himself the darling for the City fans and the club’s management but there is one other club who has been hugely benefiting from Sergio Aguero’s fine goalscoring form in England as well as in Europe.




And that club is Atletico Madrid – the ones who had sold him to Man City.




As per the original contract back in 2011, Atletico have been receiving huge sums of money.

The deal stated that Atletico Madrid would receive €250k, for every 15 goals scored, €250k, for every 25 games played and €1m, payable each time City win Premier League title.

Sergio Aguero has so far played 307 games for the Citizens scoring 210 goals. And he has won three Premier League titles.
