Chelsea lost the FA Cup final to Arsenal and it looks like Frank Lampard is making plans for a major remodelling for before the 2020-21 season kicks off, according to talkSPORT.

The report scouts various stories in England to claim: “N’Golo Kante, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ross Barkley could be among ten players set to leave Chelsea this summer as Frank Lampard looks to freshen up his squad.

“The Blues boss has vowed to improve his team after admitting defensive mistakes have cost them this season, including in their FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.\

“And, according to reports, Lampard will begin the revamp of his back four by stepping up his pursuit of Leicester City left-back Chilwell, despite the Foxes’ continued claims the England international is not for sale.

“The Times reporting the boss has put four defenders up for sale this summer with plans to bring in Chilwell and at least one more centre-back.

It is claimed the Blues will listen to offers for the defenders Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.”

Chelsea have managed to secure Champions League football for the upcoming season so attracting star players should not be a major headache for the club’s hierarchy.

They have already brought in players like Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner while Kai Havertz could also move in pretty soon and this is a clear sign of intent that the London side are aiming to challenge for the title next campaign.

After not being able to sign any new players during the past two transfer windows, Lampard has money to spend this summer and so far, it looks like the manager is putting it to good use.

But while the Chelsea boss might have put so many players up for sale but we doubt if they will be able to find a buyer for each and every one of them in time.
