Arsenal take on Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend and the Gunners will be looking to win three games on the trot when they visit St James’ Park.
Unai Emery has demanded ‘personality’ from his players when they take the pitch this weekend but the new Gunners boss could face a serious selection crisis before the match.
Reports are suggesting that a number of first-team regulars are currently moving around with knocks and injuries which could rule them out of the Newcastle game.
The quartet of Granit Xhaka, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis and Danny Welbeck will all face late fitness tests before the game in order to determine if they are available for selection.
The manager has revealed that the quartet have not trained with the first team before the Newcastle game will is certainly not a good sign in terms of them making to the team.
While the severity of the injuries is not known but reports are suggesting nothing is too serious and most of them will make it to the first team line-up.

Another major boost that Unai Emery has received is the return of Alex Iwobi who has been deemed fit for selection after having missed the Cardiff game with illness.
The due of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Lucas Torreira have also returned to training early from their international duty which means that both of them are available for the game and are going to make it to the playing eleven.
Youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles is also on the brink of full fitness and is expected to return back to training in a couple of days time.
