Celtic won the Old Firm Derby held last weekend and Bhoys captain Scott Brown was the centre of all the attention.

Yes, we know that Morelos got sent off, Andy Halliday got sent off and now Ryan Kent has been punished but all these incidents had one thing in common.

Scott Brown.

The veteran midfielder was elbowed by Morelos following which the Colombian was shown the red card.

Then it was Andy Halliday who saw a red after the game for getting into a scuffle with Scott Brown and now Rangers loanee Ryan Kent has been punished by the SFA for punching Brown – an incident which had gone unnoticed during the game.

After the match was over, Steven Gerrard had suggested that Scott Brown instigated these incidents and should also be punished.

And it looks like the SFA are not letting this one go easily.

As per reports, the SFA have charged both Celtic and Rangers for their misbehaviour during the Old Firm Derby and the name of Hoops captain Scott Brown has also been cited.

No sooner did this news come into the light, most people just couldn’t fathom as to why the governing body had chosen to charge Scott Brown.

And perhaps the most perplexed was Chris Sutton:
