Unai Emery did a pretty decent job last season after taking charge of Arsenal from Arsene Wenger. But this campaign, his graph has taken a nose dive and right now there are fears he might be sacked by the club.

So far, the Gunners have played 12 Premier League games during the 2019-20 season but have managed to pick up only four wins and their goal difference currently stands at -1.

Arsenal have either lost or drawn their last four league matches and right now most of the fans want Unai Emery out of the club as soon as possible.

While Unai Emery is sweating to keep his job at the Emirates, a number of possible replacements have been suggested and one of the names which is currently on the forefront is that of ex-Man United boss Jose Mourinho.

Various reports have suggested Unai Emery could be sacked by the North London club before the end of the year and now it seems like the hierarchy has finally made a decision about their current manager’s future.

Raul Sanllehi, head of football, and Vinai Venkatesham, managing director, met with a large number of Arsenal staff earlier this week[as reported] during which they have made it clear that the management fully stands by their manager.

“We are as disappointed as everyone else with both our results and performances at this stage of the season,” they said.

“We share the frustration with our fans, Unai, players and all our staff as they are not at the level we want or expect.

“Things need to improve to meet our objectives for the season, and we firmly believe Unai is the right man for the job, together with the backroom team we have in place.

“We are all working intensively behind the scenes to turn things around and are confident we will.

“We never take our fantastic support for granted. We hope we can all stick together and get behind the team in this challenging period, as together we are stronger.”

It has also been reported the management have also laid part of the blame on poor VAR decisions meaning they are firmly standing beside their manager until atleast the end of the season.

Sources also claim that Arsenal are willing to give Unai Emery two more transfer windows in order to sort things out but for that, the Spaniard will have to ensure he manages to keep the team atleast in the Europa League.
