Arsenal are currently on an unbeaten run of 19 games and their last win over north London rivals Tottenham proved once and for all that the Gunners are a force to be reckoned with.

With that win, the Gunners have overtaken Spurs on the Premier League table and are currently above Mauricio Pohcettino’s men.

If Arsenal manage to beat Man United on Wednesday they could move above Chelsea on the table – depending on how the Blues fare against Wolves.

And speaking before the game, Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made it clear the match against Manchester United will be very crucial just to prove that they have made a permanent change to their fate.

“It will be a very big challenge for us on Wednesday and it will confirm our good moment, or whether we need more,” said Emery.

“It is very difficult to win there because they are a very big team with big players and have a big atmosphere pushing them, but it is an exciting match and my motivation is very big.”

The London outfit have more or less a fit squad but Unai Emery’s major concern will be in the midfield area due to the unavailability of Granit Xhaka.

Xhaka picked up his fifth yellow card of the season this Sunday and will now face a one-match suspension.

This means Unai Emery will now have to find a midfield partner for Lucas Torreira.

Given the way Aaron Ramsey performed against Spurs, many feel the Welshman will be the right choice but until now, the Arsenal boss has refrained from playing in central midfield.

Mesut Ozil will be another miss as the playmaker is suffering from a back spasm and the manager has confirmed he is not likely to be available for selection on Wednesday.
