Arsenal host Chelsea at the Emirates this weekend and Unai Emery needs to win this game.

The Gunners are currently six points behind Chelsea and the Gunners need to pick up three points in order to claw down that gap.

The Blues currently occupy the fourth spot in the league table and if they win this game then it is more or less sure that Arsenal will lose substantial ground in the Champions League race.

Arsenal news vs Chelsea:

Petr Cech has announced that he will retire at the end of the season and the former Chelsea man will be on the bench this weekend.

Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi have both returned from injury meaning Emery will start three at the back with the addition of Sokratis.

Lucas Torreira came off the bench during Arsenal’s loss vs West Ham United but the summer signing will surely start vs Chelsea alongside Granit Xhaka. This means Matteo Guendouzi will start on the bench and will come on in the second half – if necessary.

Sead Kolasinac will start as the left wing-back while Hector Bellerin will play as the right wing-back – after having returned back from injury.

The fans have been urging Unai Emery to hand Mesut Ozil a start but the manager clearly favours Alex Iwobi to the German playmaker.

Both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang will start vs Chelsea with the Gabon international playing down the wing while the Frenchman will play as the sole frontman.
