Arsenal are currently fifth on the Premier League table and up next they will take on Burnley FC at home on Saturday.

Unai Emery has a number of injury concerns before the game and most of them are in and around the defensive area.

All these injuries mean the Arsenal manager could be forced to make a few unwanted changes to his starting line-up on Saturday.

Arsenal team news vs Burnley:

The manager has a number of injury concerns with the biggest ones being with Hector Bellerin and Shkodran Mustafi.

Bellerin currently has a calf strain and while the right-back has returned back to training, Burnley might just be too early for him to get back into action.

While Hector is expected to go through a late fitness test but we feel that it would be Stephan Lichtsteiner who will play in place of the Spaniard.

Shkodran Mustafi is out with hamstring injury and like Hector, he took has returned back to training but reports suggest the defender will be fully fit sometime next week.

This means either Granit Xhaka will have to play in central defence just like he did vs Spurs or Unai Emery will go with a conventional back four which means Sokratis and Laurent Koscielny will start vs Burnley.

Nacho Monreal will start in left-back while Lichtsteiner will be deployed at right-back.

Guenzoudi and Lucas Torreira will be in central midfield while Granit Xhaka will be deployed in defensive midfield – in case he doesn’t play in the three-man backline.

Both Aubameyang and Lacazette are expected to start up front with the Gabon international playing down the right wing.
