Arsenal take on Fulham at Craven Cottage this weekend and before the game, we take a look at the latest Arsenal team news vs Fulham.

Unai Emery fielded a very second string side for their Europa League clash vs Qarabag on Thursday but the Gunners picked up an easy 3-0 win at Azerbaijan.

A lot of the first team regulars are said to return to action on Sunday vs Fulham but Emery will have a few notable absentees.

Arsenal team news vs Fulham:

The first major Arsenal team news vs Fulham is the fact that Petr Cech will miss the game due to a hamstring injury. Cech though is not a very long-term absentee as it was first thought and will hopefully return back to full training in 3-4 weeks.

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torrieira did not play in the Qarabag game but will return to the first XI vs Cottagers.

Mesut Ozil too will start against Fulham on Sunday alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan who did not travel to Azerbaijan for the Europa League clash.

Alexandre Lacazette will start up front but Unai Emery will surely be concerned with the fitness of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang who was struck with illness in midweek and remains a major doubt for Sunday’s game vs Fulham.

And major Arsenal team news vs Fulham is the availability of midfielder Aaron Ramsey after the Welshman was left in London of the Europa Lsquad sqaud vs Qarabag.

Both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac started for Arsenal on Thursday but Monreal will hopefully get the nod ahead of Kolasinac at left-back this weekend given the latter has just returned from injury and Unai Emery will not want to play him so frequently.
