Arsenal and Chelsea take on each other in the Europa League final next week and both teams are almost even when it comes to being the favourites.

Arsenal knocked out Valencia in fine fashion to reach the final but Chelsea, on the other hand, had to sweat it out vs Eintracht in the semis – with the match being decided on penalties.

And these previous results might lead people to believe that the Gunners will go into the final as the more confident of the two sides.

While this theory might still hold true but when these two teams set foot on the pitch at the Baku Olympic Stadium, they will have two very different goals in mind.

Chelsea have already qualified for the Champions League next season after finishing third on the Premier League table this past season.

This means Maurizio Sarri’s men will be with only one agenda which is to end the season with a silverware.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have a lot more to play for.

The Gunners finished fifth on the league table which means that if they fail to win the Europa League next week then the North London side will miss out on Champions League football once again next campaign.

And keeping this mind, former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho feels that it will be Arsenal who will be under more pressure.

“More pressure of course for Arsenal because they play for their season,” Mourinho told Sky Sports(as reported).

“They play for the Champions League next season, they play for many millions, pride for the success of their season.

“It is really special, we will have two English teams with two cups.

“We will have at the start of next season two English teams playing the European Super Cup so that’s great news.”
