Arsene Wenger left Arsenal at the end of the 2017-18 season after two decades of association with the club.

And the Frenchman, unlike Sir Alex Ferguson, did not leave the club on a high note.

In fact, Wenger was somewhat forced out of the club due to continuous protests from the fans as well as some former players.




But now speaking to the press, Wenger has made it clear that he has not yet retired from management and might very well take up a new managerial role in the future.



Speaking to the L’Est Republicain(via Standard): “To be honest, for the moment, I have not really thought about that because I fixed myself something whereby in the first few months I would not take any decisions,




“So I have not been too worried about that. It is not even going through my head.




“No, I am not retired. If I was I would have been for a long time. I will be 69 in October.

After leaving Arsenal at the end of the previous season, Arsene Wenger was tipped to join PSG as their next boss but ultimately the French club opted to bring in Thomas Tuchel.

For a brief period of time, Wenger was also considered by the Japanese men’s national team for the role of their manager, unfortunately, that too did not work out.




But while talking about his future endeavours, Arsene Wenger refused to rule out a managerial stint.

“I don’t know, I don’t know,” Wenger added.
