Barcelona travel to Manchester United for the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Champions League this midweek.

The Catalans beat Atletico Madrid in the La Liga earlier this weekend which means Valverde men now have one hand on the Spanish title.

But now they must shift their focus back to Europe more so since Barcelona haven’t had success in the Champions League for some time now.

Barcelona news vs Man United:

The biggest concern for the Spanish side is with the injury of Ousmane Dembele.

The Frenchman returned back to training last week after a hamstring injury but he was not available for selection against Atletico Madrid this past weekend. This has further cast doubt over his participation in the Champions League.

But some reports claim that Valverde did not play Dembele this past weekend because he wanted him to remain fresh for the Old Trafford clash.

If the Frenchman gets into the starting XI then Philippe Coutinho will drop down to the bench.

Arturo Vidal missed Saturday’s win over Atletico Madrid through suspension but the midfielder should return back to the first XI on Wednesday.

This means the midfield trio for Barcelona will consist of Busquets, Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.

Sergi Roberto should get the nod at right-back ahead of Semedo while Lenglet is expected to start in central defence alongside Gerrard Pique.
