West Ham United are planning to offload Felipe Anderson during the summer after just a single season – as per reports.

Felipe Anderson joined the Hammers last summer from Lazio for a hefty fee and after an average show during the first couple of weeks, the Brazilian has now become a mainstay in the first XI.

During the 2018-19 season, so far he has played in 35 games scoring nine goals and providing five assists and right now he is one of the first names on Manuel Pellegrini’s team sheet.

So why on earth will the club be planning to sell him off?

Well, as it stands, the Hammers management have come to the realisation that a lot of clubs might be ready to pay the big bucks for Felipe Anderson this summer.

And they do not want to miss out on this opportunity.

As per reports, if a top-six club shows interest in signing Felipe Anderson at the end of the season then West Ham United will give it some serious thought.

But no prizes for guessing that the transfer price will also have to be a lucrative one.

As of now, there are no rumours of any big Premier League club wanting to make a move for Anderson but that might be because no one really expected West Ham to put him up for sale after just a single season.

But now that the London club have made their intentions pretty clear we will have to wait and see just how many top-six clubs approach them to sign Felipe Anderson.
