Chelsea are set to lose Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window but now it looks like the Blues might have to part ways with another winger.

Hazard has been eyed by Zidane Zidane and the Belgium international is believed to have his heart set on a move to Spain and right now the Blues can do very little about it.

Now though, reports are claiming that Barcelona have reignited their interest in Willian and the Catalans are expected to launch a bid at the end of the season.

Willian joined Chelsea in 2013 and for a number of seasons, the Brazilian had been the preferred right winger for the Blues.

This season though, it seems like Maurizio Sarri is not too confident to put his absolute faith on Willian and more often than not, the winger has been used in tandem with Pedro down the right flank.

During the 2018-19 season, Willian has featured in 31 Premier League games so far but has managed to score only 3 goals and provide 7 assists which are well below his capabilities.

This though is not the first time that Barcelona have tried to sign the winger because in January the Spanish side saw a bid being rejected by Chelsea.

But once the summer transfer window opens, it will be Valverde’s side who will be in the driver’s seat in terms of bringing Willian onboard.

Once the current season comes to an end, the 30-year-old will enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge and Barca believe they can now sign him for as low as £30 million.

If Chelsea do not offload him during the summer then they will risk losing him for free next year and this is something that the Catalans can prey on.

In January, Barcelona were ready to pay £50 million plus Malcolm in exchange of Willian but with the Brazilian entering the final year of his contract, the transfer price has seemingly gone down.

It remains to be seen whether Sarri will go ahead and sanction the transfer but some experts believe that the Italian might just let Willian leave given that he wants to rebuild his side from scratch.
