Manchester United have a number of players who could leave the club during the summer and one of them is Juan Mata.

Juan Mata joined Man United from Chelsea back in 2014 and since then, the Spaniard has been one of the best utility players for the Red Devils.

Mata has not been a regular for Man United under any manager but still, he has been called up whenever United have needed a spark in the attacking third.

And same was the case on Saturday when the Spaniard was a key figure up front as he helped connect the midfielders with the attackers.

Despite being such an efficient player it does not look like Man United will be giving the playmaker a new deal at the end of the season.

And keeping in line with this news, some reports claim that La Liga giants Barcelona want to sign Juan Mata during the summer.

Barcelona have reportedly made contact with Mata’s father and agent Juan Sr over the possibility of a deal.

The report claims that the transfer – if it goes through will be a financial one since Mata will not cost Barcelona anything and if needed the club can also sell him off at a profit in the near future.

Juan Mata is in no ways a regular this season at Man United but so far the Spaniard has played in 19 Premier League games scoring two goals and providing three assists.

We can understand why Barcelona might want to sign the playmaker since Juan Mata still has bags on talent and can surely add that spark in the final third.
