Diafra Sakho left behind his supercar

West Ham United was recently amongst a centre of debate when reports in the media suggested that forward Diafra Sakho had left behind his supercar when he moved out of the club in January.

Sakho joined French club Rennes at the start of the new year after a number of troubled seasons at the London club and the reports claim that he was so eager to move out of the club that he had no time to take his car with him.

As soon as this news broke out, West Ham United became the butt of all jokes as many fans were pointing out to the sorry state of the club.

A large number of faithful had also commented that the way this current season has been going it will not be surprising to see if a lot of other players follow the path of Diafra Sakho.

Now though it seems that the club have gotten news of this incident and they have wasted no time in releasing a statement regarding the left behind supercar.

The club’s statement read: “Sakho left us at very short notice and was required to start at his new club immediately. His car was left at the training ground where there is 24/7 security until he was able to arrange collection.

“It was of no inconvenience to anyone and simply indicates that the Club were prepared to assist a player with a logistical issue.”

West Ham are currently at the bottom of the league table after failing to pick up a single point during their first four games. So we feel that a parked supercar should be of least concern to the club and the management.

And while the Hammers are busy explaining the Sakho situation, the club have been not been able to prevent Manuel Pellegrini from going out on a holiday during the international break.

More so when they take on Everton and Chelsea back-to-back right after the international break.
