West Ham United beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at home this weekend and with that, the Hammers now have three wins out of past three games.

The win against Palace means the London club are now just one point behind Wolves who occupy the tenth spot on the league table. And now the West Ham fans can finally have positive dreams about their side.

West Ham United made an awful start to their new season as they were stuck in the relegation zone for a number of weeks and many believed the club would not be able to avoid relegation this time around.

But thanks to the Hammers board for sticking with their manager Manuel Pellegrini who has turned the whole dimension of the squad.

Manuel Pellegrini took charge of the club during the summer and he was immediately backed by the management as a result of which the former Man City boss made more than a dozen signings during the summer transfer window.

But as luck would have it, the Hammers had to face one big club after another during the first couple of weeks which meant Manuel Pellegrini did not have the chance to sort out his feet.

Now that the storm has passed, we are finally seeing what the man is actually capable of.

And former Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that the inside word on Manuel Pellegrini is very positive.

“They did start awful. Now everybody’s happy and three wins in a row is a great achievement,” Berbatov told Sky Sports.

“From what I know and hear Pellegrini is a great manager and a guy who knows how to speak with his players and this is what you need in modern football now, a psychologist (to) know how to activate your players.

“Everybody’s different (but) this is what he is doing.”

Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping to make it four out of four wins next weekend when his side take on Fulham – a club which are currently at the bottom of the Premier league table.
