After Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea this weekend, Liverpool now remain the only team in the Premier League who are yet to taste defeat.

And they showed no signs of slowing down as they breezed past Bournemouth with a final scoreline of 4-0.

Mo Salah was the man of the hour as the Egyptian scored a hattrick with Steve Cook adding an own goal into the mix.

But the next seven days could change the whole complexion of Liverpool’s season with big games against Napoli and Manchester United coming up.

Liverpool host Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday and the Reds need to beat the Italian side if they wish to qualify for the knockout stages.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently third in Group C with six points and a win over Napoli will take them to nine points meaning they will have a chance to even top that group.

And before this all-important game, Jurgen Klopp could have some serious issues concerning his team selection.

Liverpool vs Napoli: Reds team news

Liverpool are obviously missing Alex Oxlade Chamberlain who is out until the next season with an ACL injury.

Right-back Nathan Clyne is also out with a knock and while the manager refused to put a return date on the player but he did accept that Clyne is not training with the squad meaning he will also be a miss for the Liverpool vs Napoli game.

But apart from these two, Jurgen Klopp could have some serious defensive issues gives two of centre-back are still recovering from injuries.

Joe Gomez is a sure absentee for the Liverpool vs Napoli match after suffering a broken ankle and he will only be back sometime during the end of January next year.

Dejan Lovren is also on the verge of missing the game as the Croatian is out with a concussion and the unofficial word is that he will only return just before the Man United game.

While some prominent sources have claimed, Dejan Lovren will be fit for the Liverpool vs Napoli game but it cannot be confirmed just as yet.

In case the World Cupper cannot make himself fit then Jurgen Klopp will have no other option but to play with Virgil Van Dijk and Matip in central defence just like he did for the Bournemouth game.
