Manchester United brought in Bruno Fernandes during the January transfer window and the Portuguese has made an instant impact at the club.

So far the player has featured in four Premier League games for the Old Trafford outfit and has already managed to two goals along with two assists.

And speaking about the impact of Bruno Fernandes, Rio Ferdinand has revealed how the playmaker has made a positive impact since his arrival at the club.

“He’s come in and he’s been a breath of fresh air,” he told his YouTube channel, via MEN.

“There’s no heirs and graces and he looks like he’s come in and is someone who wants to play football and enjoys his football.

“He’s somebody who is going to have an impact and have an influence on other people it seems. He’s come in and I’m seeing improvements in other people’s performances.

“Mata for one, him and Mata have linked up very well. He plays the ball into people, his awareness of space and people around him is phenomenal.

“It’s still early days, we can’t say he’s the saviour, but where we are now he’s scored two back to back penalties, but more importantly it’s been his performances, how he’s carefree his imagination.

“The pass to Mata for the Ighalo goal where he’s faked a couple of times and then dinked it to the back post, you can tell he’s a bit different, he’s not the same as everyone else.

“I’m delighted to see that.”

Bruno Fernandes has taken no time to adjust to life in England and this has been one of the biggest advantages for Solskjaer and as things stand, it seems like the midfielder will be key to helping Manchester United get back into the Champions League next season.
