Villarreal head to England this week to take on Arsenal in the Europa League and manager Unai Emery has sounded the alarm bells against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The forward has been out of tune this season for Arsenal but still, Unai Emery has not shied away from praising the talents of the 31-year-old Gabon international.
Emery said, as quoted by The Standard: “Aubameyang is a killer.
“He was, he is and he will always be. He has been through a process of being out of the team because of the illness he has had, but he is back.
“He is there to work, to defend the team and give everything for the team, hoping he can perform at the top level and if that happens he is going to be very difficult to stop.
“We expect to find the best Aubameyang possible, the same with Granit Xhaka. I think he is a great person, a really great footballer.
“He was the top scorer in the Premier League when I was there, he is really good physically and is a killer, like I said.”

Aubameyang has scored only 10 goals in the Premier League this season and until recently, he was out of the squad after contracting malaria while on international duty. The player has taken slow steps towards making a full recovery and in the first leg, he could only manage five minutes on the pitch.
It’s still unclear how he will impact the game this week but against Fulham, Aubameyang put in a fine shift and even managed to find the back of the net after a really long time.
Mikel Arteta is hopeful that Auba will prove his worth in the second leg but in all fairness, the manager has no other option but to lay his trust in the 31-year-old since he does not have too many other options to fall back to.
