Chelsea are still looking to sort out their managerial issue but reports are coming in that one of their long-term targets has been put up for sale.

Multiple reports in Italy are claiming that AS Roma have finally decided to offload Radja Nainggolan and several clubs are lining up for bids.

Up until now, the Serie A have always shunned away any club that has approached them for the midfielder. Now though it seems that the Roma hierarchy has a change of heart.

If reports are to be believed then AS Roma’s sporting director, Monchi, has made the call to sell the 30-year-old.

Monchi feels that the time is right to let go of Nainggolan and use the transfer fee in other players.

This decision from the Italian club should not come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the club’s transfer policy this summer.

Roma have already brought in the likes of Marcano, Cristante, Coric and Kluivert which clearly indicates that the club is shifting their focus to a youth-centric team.

And a 30-year-old midfielder does not seem to fit the brief.

Chelsea have been put on high alert ever since this news broke out and the Stamford Bridge outfit will surely put in a bid if they have enough time on their hands.

Reports in Italy suggest that Radja Nainggolan is closer to joining Inter Milan in the coming weeks as the Belgium wishes to stay in Italy.

Despite his fine performances for Roma this past season, Nainggolan was shockingly left out of Blegium’s World Cup squad and out frustation the midfielder has decided to call it quits on his international career.
