Cardiff City have gained promotion to the Premier League this summer as a result of which they are bringing in new players who can help the club stay afloat in the English top division.
And if reports are to be believed then Neil Warnock’s side are planning to raid Rangers during the summer transfer window.
Recently Rangers FC held a Q&A session on Twitter with Josh which went horribly wrong as most of the fans starting asking him as to when he will be moving out of the club.
Now it seems that the wishes of all those fans are about to come true.
It’s no secret that Cardiff City have been interested in Gers midfielder Josh Windass for some time now and it seems that the Premier League side have upped the ante.
The Scottish Sun, are claiming that Warnock’s side are planning to launch a 1.5 million pound bid in order to sign Josh Windass.
Windass joined Rangers in 2016 from Accrington and since then the midfielder has been an integral figure in the first team setup.
Last season the 24-year-old played 41 games in all competitions – scoring 18 goals.
This though is not the first time that Windass has been linked with a move out of Ibrox with clubs like Derby County and Newcastle United wanted to sign him up in the January transfer window of 2017.
Back then both Derby and Newcastle were playing in the Championship but now that Cardiff City – a Premier League have come calling for him, it might just be hard for the midfielder to resist a move.
