Mo Salah might have managed to score 17 goals in the Premier League this season but as compared to last year, the Egyptian has been having a very average time.

Last season, everything Salah touched turned into gold but this time around it looks like defenders have understood the ploy that the forward operates on and they are much more prepared to tackle that.

After last season, many believed that Mo Salah would turn out to be a one season wonder and while we still cannot say that but his performance graph is surely on the decline.

And last time around, the forward was happy to work in tandom with his attackers partners and most often than not, the likes of Mane and Firmino were ready to give him the centre-stage.

But now that Sadio Mane has become the top man for Liverpool, we cannot see the same level of compassion from Salah.

And speaking after Liverpool’s win vs Fulham, former Reds defender Jamie Carragher has labeled Mo as greedy and selfish.

“He has been selfish and greedy, no doubt,” Carragher said on Sky Sports(via Teamtalk).

“His record for Liverpool has been outstanding in the Premier League – scoring and creating goals.

“Nobody has been involved in more goals this season he’s been a constant threat.

“But two or three times today he’s got to get his head up and see what’s around him.”

To be honest this is not the first time this season, that Salah has tried to do everything by himself.

There have been numerous occassions that the Egyptian has failed to work together as a unit thus leading to spoilt attacks and it looks like even Jurgen Klopp is starting to lose his patience with Salah after James Milner was given the penalty duties at Craven Cottage this weekend.
