Celtic FC have recently parted ways with Jonny Hayes and as per Football Insider, the club’s now looking to send out let-back Boli Bolingoli before the new season begins.

Football Insider’s Wayne Veysey writes: “Celtic are set to continue their left-side overhaul by listening to offers for Boli Bolingoli after offloading Jonny Hayes.

“A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Bolingoli is also in line to depart if the club get an offer that matches their asking price.

“That is unlikely to be more than the £3million they spent signing him from Rapid Vienna last summer.”

Boli Bolingoli joined Celtic FC from Rapid Vienna last summer but the full-back has not been able to impress anyone during his first season in Scottish football.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the 24-year-old has managed to feature in only 14 Premiership matches for the Hoops and during the 1243 minutes that he has been on the pitch, the defender has been able to provide only two assists.

So, it’s no surprise Neil Lennon is looking to cash in on him during the summer but the one problem is that Celtic FC might have to lose on some money in order to sell off Boli Bolingoli.

The Glasgow side paid £3.01m for the services of the left-back and not a lot of clubs will be eager to pay that much given the player has been really mediocre this season.

TransferMarkt currently values Bolingoli at £2.16 million and that is the price that Celtic FC might eventually have to quote for the Belgian.

There is an option of holding onto him for one more season but we do not think Neil Lennon will be too eager to follow this path since he already has more than an apt left-back in the form of Greg Taylor.
