SPFL Celtic FC Scottish Premiership
Celtic Park

Celtic FC currently sit pretty on top of the Premiership table and they are 10 points clear of their arch-rivals Rangers FC, who sit second.

And in such a scenario, the Gers travel across the city to play the Old Firm Derby at Celtic Park.

The Bhoys had a number of injury concerns going into the Celtic vs Rangers game but the trio of Olivier Ntcham, Dedryck Boyata and Tom Rogic should all be available for selection after they were pictured in training earlier this week.

Kieran Tierney remains an injury doubt but recent reports coming out of Scotland claim that the full-back will go through a late fitness test and should be fit to play on Sunday.

Here’s how Neil Lennon could line up his team during the Celtic vs Rangers clash.

Goalkeeper:

Scott Brain will most certainly play in front of the sticks since he is currently Celtic’s first choice keeper.

Defence:

Mikael Lustig remains a doubt for the Celtic vs Rangers clash which means Jeremy Toljan could start at right-back despite his frailties in defence.

Kieran Tierney will go through a late fitness test and if the youngster cannot make it to the matchday squad then it will be Izaguirre who will hopefully start as the left-back on Sunday.

Boyata and Kristoffer Ajar have been rock solid in defence and Neil Lennon will most certainly stick with the same combination for the Celtic vs Rangers clash.

Midfield:

Scott Brown is a no brainer when it comes to the midfield selection and the captain should be partnered by Callum McGregor in centre of the park.

McGregor has arguably been the best player for Celtic during the 2018-19 season and he alongside Brown should be able to provide that extra bit of defensive screen when the Gers go into attack.

Oliver Burke can play in a number of roles in and around the attacking third but during the Celtic vs Rangers game, the 21-year-old could be deployed as a central attacking midfielder who plays in the hole right behind the front man.

Attack:

Scott Sinclair will play on the left flank and James Forrest should be deployed down the right-hand side by Neil Lennon and up front, it will be Odsonne Edouard.
