Celtic FC fans are not too happy with the club right now – let’s clear out that bit of detail first.

The Bhoys recently announced that they have signed a five-year extension with sponsors Dafabet until the 2024/25 season.

Dafabet have been associated with the reigning Scottish League champions since 2016 and extension now means that Celtic now have the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in Scottish football history.

The announced the Dafabet deal was announced with a statement that read: “We are absolutely delighted to secure such a lucrative, long-term arrangement with Dafabet, a fantastic partner with whom we have already enjoyed such a great relationship.

“Celtic is currently in a terrific position on and off the field, achieving regular football success and with an infrastructure of strength and stability. Celtic continues to be one of the world’s great football clubs and through these strong fundamentals we continue to be able to attract and deliver such quality partnerships.

“This announcement represents further great news for the club and our supporters ensuring another positive, high value and high calibre partnership for the future. We thank Dafabet for their continued commitment to Celtic Football Club.”

But it seems that the announced has not gone down too well with the Hoops fans who have lashed out their club for failing to bring in new players – something that is equally if not more important than the Dafabet deal.

On the other hand, the Gers fans are having a laugh riot as their club have already signed ten new players under new boss Steven Gerrard.
