Manchester United kick off the new Premier League season when they take on Leicester City at Old Trafford next Friday night.

And as of now, the United fans are pretty worried as to whether Jose Mourinho can field a strong enough team for the game against the Foxes.

The Red Devils had as many as 12 first team players who played for their respective countries in the World Cup last month and right now most of them are out on holiday.

A couple of days ago, the United manager had spoken about his player’s character during the pre-season and now it seems that a number of his players are doing all they can to help the team pick up all three points on the opening day.

Players like David De Gea, Fred and Nemanja Matic all cut their holidays short and reported back for United’s pre-season tour in the United States.

And now England duo Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones have returned back to training at the club’s base in Carrington.

Defender Victor Lindelof too touched down at Manchester last week and if reports are to be believed then the club have requested Romelu Lukaku to cut his holiday short and return back to training.

And the Belgian International has obliged to those requests and has returned back to Carrington in order to join his teammates.

We can’t predict what the outcome of the Old Trafford game on Friday will be but one thing is for sure is that the players are making sure that Mourinho is not left with too many excuses if the Foxes cause an upset.
