Chelsea travel to St James’ Park this weekend in order to take on Newcastle United and many believe this will be an easy win for the Blues.

Right now, Steve Bruce is dealing with a series of injury concerns with the likes of Dummett and Dwight Gayle all ruled out for the Premier League clash.

At the time of writing this article, the Magpies have as many as nine injury concerns which have led to a belief that Chelsea should get back home with a win under their belt.

But speaking to the press ahead of the clash, the Chelsea manager has made it clear that he will not be taking Newcastle lightly only because they have a long injury list since their biggest weakness could very well become their greatest motivator on Saturday.

The manager told during the press conference: “Even though we have good away form, in general, every game brings new challenges.

“Going to Newcastle I know the emotion of the crowd, the very organised team they are, the manager they have, and also the threats they have. They have got some really good results this season. We will be taking nothing lightly.

“We have to take this game head-on. It is massively important we keep our focus game in, game out. We certainly can’t underestimate Newcastle because of the season they’re having.

“It is still an opportunity, but this is vital. Every game brings challenges, going to Newcastle, the emotion of the crowd and they are an organised side.

“We won’t take it lightly. We have to take every game head-on. We don’t underestimate there.

“Bournemouth were down to the bare bones and we lost, it can bring out a different feeling. They have done very well and I don’t look at the bare bones.”

A win for Chelsea would mean they move further away from Manchester United who are just about breathing down their neck and if Ole’s men lose their league match against Liverpool on Sunday then the Blues can open up a seven-point gap from the OT outfit.
