Arsenal vs Sheffield United should be a cracking affair in the Premier League this weekend since the Blades have been in red hot form this season.

Right now Sheffield are sixth on the Premier League table just seven points off the top-four while Arsenal are 10th with 28 points.

But during the past couple of weeks, the North London side have seen a change of fortune under the guidance of their new boss Mikel Arteta who has helped the players find a new gear.

Last weekend though Arsenal could manage to pick up only a single point against Crystal Palace and this week things are going to get even tougher especially with the absence of Aubameyang who remains suspended due to a red card.

Despite all suspension and all the injury concerns, Michael Owen believes, the Gunners will be able to ride all the challenges and pick up a win primarily due to their newfound determination and enthusiasm.

“Arsenal had to settle for a point at Selhurst Park on Saturday when they played the last quarter of the game with 10-men following the red card given to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang,” Owen told BetVictor while predicting the Arsenal vs Sheffield United game.

“The Gunners must do without their striker for the next three games, but I feel they will keep all three points against Sheffield United back at the Emirates.

“The Gunners were very poor in the reverse fixture at Bramall Lane earlier in the season, but they are a different side under Mikel Arteta playing with more energy and passion.

“The Blades have only lost at Anfield and the Etihad in the league so far this season, but I expect Arsenal to keep the points.”

A lot rides on the Arsenal vs Sheffield United encounter since if the Blades can go back home with a win they Arteta and his boys will be under serious pressure.

If all the other teams close to them can manage a win and Arsenal fail to do the same then the Emirates outfit could very well end the weekend at 13th on the Premier League table.
