Chelsea have appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager and the former Napoli manager’s first big task will be to stop some of his key players from moving out of Stamford Bridge.

Players like Willian and Eden Hazard have been eyed by several European rivals but the man who could be closest to leaving the club is goalkeeper Thiabut Courtois.

Courtois had a wonderful World Cup campaign with Belgium which has just increased Real Madrid’s interest in the player and the feeling seems to be mutual.

The 26-year-old keeper is yet to sign a new deal at Chelsea and rumours have it that he has his heart set on a move to Madrid.

Florentino Perez has also made significant progress in grabbing the shot-stopper and as per the latest reports the Los Blancos are waiting for Chelsea to sign a replacement.

And this scenario is apt for Arsenal to raise some money.

The Gunners also have a new boss in the form of Unai Emery who is trying to rebuild the Arsenal team and in a bid to do so he needs to make signings.

The London outfit have already signed five new players during the summer and are expected to sign a couple of more before the start of the new season.

But the problem for the manager right now is that he has already exhausted the transfer budget that was allocated to him meaning he will now have to sell players in order to raise funds.

The Gunners have been in pursuit of France and Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi but what seems to be holding back the Emery is his price tag of £35 million.

But if Chelsea fail to hold onto Thibaut Courtois then signing N’Zonzi could be a real possibility for the Gunners.

Reports have it that the Blues might try and re-sign Petr Cech from Arsenal in order to replace Courtois – atleast for the next season which in turn will help Unai Emery to big in a fair amount of money.

Arsenal have already signed Bernd Leno who is going to become the first choice keeper for the club next season so Petr Cech will be warming the benches in case he does not move out.

The reports suggest that the Chelsea board have given Maurizio Sarri the option to sign Cech from their London rivals and are now waiting for their new manager to make a decision.

With Bernd Leno onboard and David Ospina as a good backup, Arsenal will surely have no problems in offloading Petr Cech if Chelsea come calling.
