Chelsea saw their unbeaten run come to an end after they were humiliated by Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this weekend.
The Blues were beaten 3-1 by the Lilywhites which means that now only Man City and Liverpool remain unbeaten in the league.
The loss also means that Chelsea have moved down to the fourth spot and are now seven points behind league leaders Manchester City.
And amongst this Eden Hazard has dropped a major truth bomb which the Chelsea fans will surely be not too happy to hear.
The Belgian has been tipped to move out of Stamford Bridge for a couple of transfer windows now but with his current contract at Chelsea coming to an end in 2020, there have been heavy rumours that Eden Hazard will move out of England next year.
But talking about his future at the club, Hazard has made it clear that it is ‘impossible’ for him to leave the club during the January transfer window but at the same time, he has refused to rule out a move in the summer.
“Impossible. I don’t see myself leaving in January, for the club, for the fans.“Eden Hazard said.
“It’s possible [that he could leave in the summer], as I repeat every time, but it’s also possible I stay at Chelsea for my whole career.
“For the moment, as I have already said, I’m focusing on Chelsea this year. I have a year on my contract after this year. If there is no contract extension, of course [he would be sold].”
The winger has reinvented himself this season under new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri which has brought him back to the transfer market limelight.
A number of clubs have shown interest in signing Eden Hazard and his comments now will surely mean that the Belgian will be the talk of the summer transfer window next year.
