Chelsea take on Fulham in the English Premier League this weekend and given the state that the Cottagers are right now, it should be an easy three points for the Blues.

Chelsea won their Europa League fixture vs Dynamo Kviv 5-0 and Maurizio Sarri chose to rest a number of his first team regulars for the midweek fixture.

But given that the Blues are currently fighting for the top-four spot on the league table, most of those rested players should return to the first XI this weekend.

Chelsea news vs Fulham:

David Luiz made way for Andreas Christensen in central defence but the Brazilian will return to partner Antonio Rudiger vs Fulham.

Emerson and Azpilicueta were both rested for the Europa League clash but they will most certainly return to the first XI for the London Derby.

In one of those rare occasions, Sarri chose to rest Jorginho in midweek and in his place Matteo Kovacic started in central midfield while N’Golo Kante was deployed down out wide.

But on Sunday, the former Napoli man will return to his usual role while Ruben Loftus-Cheek should make way for Ross Barkley.

Olivier Giroud started the game vs Kviv as Gonzalo Higuain missed the game due to illness and reports suggest the January signing will not be available for selection this weekend as well.

Eden Hazard was given a much-deserved rest on Thursday as Willian took his place on the left flank while Callum Hudson-Odoi also got a chance to start vs Dynamo.

Hazard should take back his place in the starting lineup this weekend while Hudson-Odoi is likely to be replaced by Pedro.
