Chelsea and Manchester United will be given a chance to sign Aubameyang as Arsenal make themselves ready to part ways with the forward in the summer – as per reports.

The player has scored 17 goals in the Premier League so far this season but he will be a free agent next summer and as things stand, the Gunners will not be offering him a new deal at the club.

Football London are reporting that the North London club are not eager to give him a significant pay-rise amidst such financial distress which is why the will be putting him up for sale.

The report claims: “There have been plenty of rumours around the Gabonese’s contract status and the negotiations between him, his agent and the club in the past 12 months.

“Football.london understands Arsenal are planning on an assumption that their fixtures will take place behind closed doors until 2021, that will have a massive impact on the Gunners over any other side in the league – a major loss expected to be in excess of £50million.

“In Arsenal’s current financial circumstances selling Aubameyang at the right price may make sense but the sporting logic for keeping him is indisputable.”

Which club will Aubameyang choose in the summer?

Chelsea and Manchester United are the two big clubs who have shown an interest in signing Aubameyang and both of them are expected to launch bids during the summer.

Now as far as we think, the Gabon international might opt to join Chelsea and not Manchester United for a couple of reasons.

If he was to join the Blues then it would mean he gets to remain in London and relocation is something which any ageing player wouldn’t be too keen to do.

Also at Chelsea, the forward will have less competition since Tammy Abraham is the only regular first-team striker who will challenge him for a spot in the starting XI. But at Manchester United, the forward will have to fight it out with Anthony Martial, Odion Ighalo and also a new signing since Ole is keen on adding one more centre-forward for the upcoming season.

Aubameyang Arsenal

Finally, Arsenal expected to quote a really high price for Aubameyang and some experts believe Man United are not too eager to spend massive amounts money on a 30-year-old as they would rather use that same number to lure in someone like Harry Kane from Spurs.
